Made it!

We've made it! 

We had nine hours to go after seeing this sign. Which may have been more beautiful than the Arizona Sunset the night before:

The iPhone really doesn't do that one justice. And no we did not stop to see "The Thing" which is basically a mummy at a gas station advertised by over 20 billboards across 80 or so miles of desert. 

Actually we made it on Thursday night and have had Tacos everyday we've been here. We ate at Torci's on Thursday followed by three straight days of Tacodeli, making us 4 for 4 on days with a taco meal.

We have no internet, no tv, and no gas which means no hot water or heat but all of our stuff was dropped off on Saturday. We have so much stuff. I would totally trade at least two of our meat loaf baking dishes for a hot shower. 

Oh and we made it to Texas just in time. A jury duty summons was waiting for me in our Austin mailbox. It was from SF Superior Court so I won't be attending. I will however add this to the evidence that I'm the luckiest man alive. 

All in all we're loving it.
